Mackenzie Reese

I was given my first camera the summer going to my Freshman year. I have been In love with photography ever since.

During my time In Griffith college, I took a class in photography. One project was to create a collection of 4 photos that represented any word. I originally came up with the idea of taking pictures of different bodywork (piercings and tattoos I’ve seen around campus.) However, I realized that the way people dress and express themselves was very different in my classes. Therefore, I decided to do the theme of self-expression. Every person that I am friends with express their personalities through the way they look. I emphasized these looks with Photoshop and used words like “bold and brave” to demonstrate what they were expressing through their looks.
